Peterson

Most people just know that he did it. I don't believe in the death penalty because I think that there's always the slimmest doubt. I mean, someone could lie and say they committed murder because they're mentally disturbed, or they could be framed for it. Sure, life in prison is probably even worse than death, but I just don't believe that the government should take it upon itself to put someone to death.

I'd prefer if we gave someone the tools they needed to kill themselves if that's what they want. Then it's over with, and the government doesn't even have to deal with their sorry ass anymore.

Even though I don't think the government should kill people, I think that, since death was the ultimate punishment, the Scott Peterson jury made the right decision. That's because he did it. He's sick. Laci's mom said that she could imagine her poor daughter begging for her life. I think she probably doesn't have to worry about that, because I think Scott is such a coward, that he probably not only planned it ahead of time, but figured out a sneaky way to do it while she was sleeping, napping, or just not looking, and least expected it. Some people really suck.
